Press and photo opportunity
Over the past few years there has been a constant rise in the competition for journalists and coverage. Press offices and agencies are nowadays only rarely able to tempt journalists away from their desks with “regular” press conferences and meetings. So what makes it worth their while to attend a press meeting? More and more, editors-in-chief and managing editors are making their decisions to attend press events based on possible photo opportunities. This is particularly true of picture editors and tv teams. It also explains why we often develop visual elements for our clients that are used in staging their press event.
