The German Foundation for Monument Preservation is the largest private initiative for monument preservation in Germany. The foundation commissioned DIE PR-BERATER to support them in their communication against the North Rhine-Westphalian monument protection amendment.

Realisation:

DIE PR-BERATER designed a press campaign in front of the Düsseldorf state parliament for the handover of more than 20,000 votes for a petition against the planned amendment to the NRW state law on the protection of historical monuments.

We developed an action sculpture as a visual motif that vividly conveyed the foundation's position: a wrecking ball destroying a listed building façade. The campaign generated a large number of reports in the major media in NRW and beyond. We successfully conveyed the message of the German Foundation for Monument Protection through the expressive and striking motif.

Following the press campaign, we supported the foundation in placing its experts in the political arena and in the media. As a result, the arguments against the monument protection amendment were prominently featured in all major NRW media for months.
