Versatile event management

Realisation:

The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts commissioned DIE PR-BERATER to support the research centre with communications relating to the Destination Earth project. This includes the regular planning and realisation of international specialist events.

Destination Earth is a flagship initiative of the European Commission. Its aim is to create a digital twin of the Earth that enables a highly accurate simulation of extreme weather, climate change and their socio-economic effects.

DIE PR-BERATER support ECMWF in many areas of event management. During the planning phase, for example, we researched and inspected suitable locations, briefed and coordinated service providers for video, audio, etc. and created decorative elements and giveaways.

On the days of the event itself, we managed the livestream and interactive elements such as spontaneous surveys and Q&A with online participants. As the interface between ECMWF and all service providers, we also ensured that everything ran smoothly. After the event, we created and analysed feedback forms and formulated recommendations for future events.
