Task:

  • To improve the image of the industry and raise awareness of ZiTex among the target groups with press and media relations work

ZiTex Textil & Mode NRW is an initiative to strengthen the competitiveness of the textile and clothing industry for the long term. It is sponsored by associations and trade unions.

Realisation:

DIE PR-BERATER developed a concept for using press and media relations activities to achieve maximum effect among the broader general public and the trade public with only limited resources. The focus was on utilizing, or creating, current events or occasions for media coverage. As a basis they used reports on important topics and success stories in the industry. These included examples of the competitiveness of companies in the industry through good management or technical innovation. The aim was to make the general public especially more aware of the very broad spectrum of textile technology applications, which ranges from construction and architecture all the way to medical technology. The press and media relations work here focused among other things on career prospects and profiles in the industry. One of the opportunities for media coverage on this theme was the ZiTex competition for the industry’s next generation of talent.
